Job Summary

Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Manager to lead our team of technicians in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating our technicians to achieve budgeted monthly, quarterly, and annual gross profit contribution and KPI goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the progress of technicians during inspections and diagnostics, ensuring timely completion of tasks and excellent customer service.
  • Focus on delivering a 5-star customer experience and driving positive customer reviews.
  • Oversee the sales process for all HVAC channels, from initial contact to completion.
  • Lead weekly sales meetings with technicians to discuss sales strategies and performance.
  • Collaborate with technicians to design and implement efficient and effective system solutions for customers.
  • Communicate marketing messaging, campaigns, and promotions to technicians to ensure seamless execution.
  • Track and review sales performance at the branch level, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct bi-monthly sales reviews with the technician team to discuss progress and set goals.
  • Build estimates for technicians and present repair and replacement options to customers via phone or zoom.
  • Ensure data collection on every job and adherence to internal compliance measures.
  • Provide multiple options for customers on every job, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage 3rd party Consumer Financing plans and monitor signed documents.
  • Participate in weekly technician training sessions to enhance technical skills.
  • Follow the Service Manager Sales Process and rehash unsold estimates when necessary.
  • Time manage the technician team to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Debrief with and coach technicians on sales process and performance.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in email, MS Office, and related business tools.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in group speaking, training, leading, and coaching.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and comprehensive background check.
  • OSHA 10 certification (Construction and Health) preferred.
  • US work authorization.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years sales experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manager role.
  • Service Titan experience.
