Job Title: Restoration Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restoration Technician to join our team at SERVPRO of Decatur. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for responding to service calls, performing restoration services, and communicating with customers to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to Service Calls: Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Perform Restoration Services: Perform restoration services, including water and fire damage restoration, to ensure that properties are restored to their pre-loss condition.
- Communicate with Customers: Communicate with customers to understand their needs and expectations, and to ensure that all work is completed to their satisfaction.
- Support Crew Chief: Support the Crew Chief in ensuring that all restoration services are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain Equipment and Vehicles: Maintain equipment and vehicles to ensure that they are in good working condition and are properly cleaned and organized.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in Restoration: Experience in restoration, including water and fire damage restoration, is preferred.
- Physical Demands: The ability to lift 50 pounds and to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Certifications: IICRC certifications are preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to Chemicals: Exposure to chemicals is a normal part of this job.
- Walking and Standing: Walking and standing for long periods of time is required.
- Driving: Driving is required to travel to job sites.
