Overview:
Are you a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiovascular Intensive Care? We are looking for passionate and experienced CVICU Travel RNs to become part of our dedicated team. This role offers the unique opportunity to deliver outstanding patient care across various healthcare environments while enjoying the flexibility and excitement of travel nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular issues.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' cardiovascular conditions, including hemodynamic status and ECG readings.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
- Respond to medical emergencies and participate in critical response teams.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of assignment or a compact license.
- Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience or 3 years of nursing experience without travel.
- Current Covid and Flu vaccinations.
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.
