Position Summary:
The Marketing Communications Specialist collaborates closely with the Marketing Director and various internal teams to implement annual marketing initiatives and event promotions. This role demands a talent for crafting engaging and persuasive content that aligns with the organization's objectives for each campaign. The ideal candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail, outstanding time management abilities, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with the possibility of remote work, requiring occasional office presence as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Editing:
- Compose and refine a diverse array of marketing materials across various platforms, including print, digital, social media, and advertising.
- Collaborate with the Design team to produce polished final documents that adhere to brand standards and fulfill marketing goals.
- Act as a copywriter and editor, enhancing corporate messaging and maintaining brand consistency.
- Provide content recommendations based on market and user insights.
- Stay informed about customer preferences, competitive landscape, and industry trends in messaging and style.
Marketing Support:
- Assist the Marketing Director and Design Team in developing strategic marketing plans and executing assigned tasks, including print and digital initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines, ensuring timely completion under the guidance of the Marketing Director.
- Contribute to establishing long-term objectives for engaging new markets.
- Develop and maintain systems to streamline project management from initiation to completion, focusing on goal achievement and budget management.
- Analyze project effectiveness and track performance metrics using analytical tools.
Email Marketing Management:
- Coordinate audience requests and manage email campaigns, ensuring effective communication with target groups.
- Analyze email performance metrics and present findings in an accessible format for team review.
- Maintain the email calendar and oversee audience development for various campaigns.
- Utilize software tools to manage email contacts and templates efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role focused on writing.
- Proven ability to create clear, engaging, and impactful copy for diverse audiences, preferably in a B2B context.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and social media campaign execution.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and understanding of digital advertising.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to new software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
