The Water Meter Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks related to water meter installation, testing, and maintenance. This includes installing new water meters, testing existing ones, repairing or replacing damaged or non-functional meters, conducting routine inspections of water meters and related equipment, and performing pressure tests on water lines to ensure proper functionality.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Two Years' Experience in Construction, Pipefitting, or Utility Environment
  • Valid South Carolina Driver's License Required
  • D Water Distribution Operator's License Exam Must Be Passed Within 24 Months of Hire
