Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities at the Charleston Water System. These tasks may include:

* Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment.

* Repairing and replacing broken equipment, such as pumps and valves.

* Assisting with more complex projects, such as upgrades and renovations to facilities.

* Maintaining safety standards when working with chemicals and operating equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Successful completion of the Charleston Water Systems Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship Program is mandatory.

Prior work record indicating dependability and conscientiousness is essential.
