Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Physician Assistant to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our intensive care unit, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to manage critically-ill cardiac patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the care and management of critically-ill cardiac patients, including those with cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and mixed shock.
  • Round on patients, work with multidisciplinary teams, and perform critical care procedures within your scope of practice.
  • Manage mechanical circulatory support devices, such as IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
  • Participate in family meetings and consultations.
Requirements
  • Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant or current limited permit issued by New York State to practice as a Physician Assistant.
