We are seeking a skilled Yard Jockey to join our team at TransForce. As a Yard Jockey, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers and freight within our distribution center. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a challenging role with opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Move trailers and freight within the distribution center, following all safety protocols and procedures
- Operate a forklift and other equipment as needed
- Assist with loading and unloading freight from trailers and trucks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and safe operations
- 21 years of age or older
- CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)
- Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test
- Follow DOT regulations (if applicable)
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
