Responsibilities:
The Clinical Research Nurse will be responsible for the meticulous preparation and submission of regulatory documents to relevant authorities. This includes overseeing the enrollment process for clinical studies and managing multiple research protocols.
Key Duties Include:
- Recruiting and screening potential participants for clinical trials.
- Collecting and entering data accurately into research databases.
- Coordinating follow-up visits and maintaining communication with participants and their families.
- Providing essential information about the research project to participants, including potential risks and benefits.
- Ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed for enrolled candidates.
- Assisting in various research-related tasks as directed by senior research staff.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas and hold either a Bachelor's degree in nursing with at least one year of relevant experience or an Associate's degree with three years of related experience.
Skills and Attributes:
Experience in clinical or research settings, particularly in intensive care, operating room, or emergency room environments, is highly desirable. Familiarity with regulatory submissions, including those to the FDA, is a plus. Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
