Position Summary: The Interventional Radiologic Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care within the field of interventional radiology.
At Envita Medical Center, we are dedicated to pioneering innovative interventional radiology solutions in precision oncology, with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes through compassionate care. Our mission is to transform healthcare practices and improve lives.
We are currently in search of a dedicated Interventional Radiologic Technologist who values patient safety, education, and effective communication, ensuring a transparent and reassuring experience for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient identity, orders, and medical history for accuracy
- Assist in transporting and positioning patients for procedures
- Conduct interventional radiology procedures while prioritizing patient comfort
- Administer contrast agents as required
- Assess images for quality control
- Oversee departmental operations and maintain equipment
Educational Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited interventional radiology technologist program
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of two years of experience in radiology and AART registration
- Certification in CPR and Vascular-Interventional Radiology
Licenses and Certifications:
- Current and valid AZ State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
