Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver school health services as directed by department and contracts, ensuring the well-being of our students.
  • Provide routine, special needs, and emergency first aid care, utilizing your clinical expertise to address the physical, psychological, and social needs of our students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records, documenting services rendered and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in educational efforts, collaborating with the department and hospital to promote health and wellness among our students.
  • Communicate effectively with management, parents/guardians, school authorities, and allied personnel, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for students of all ages, regardless of their physical, psychological, social, educational, or safety needs.
  • Comply with departmental, school, state, and federal policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required, contributing to the overall success of our team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, with a minimum of one year of experience in healthcare required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is necessary for effective communication and record-keeping.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required, with BLS certification and Registered Nurse licensure also necessary.

Work Environment:

This is a part-time position, with an FTE of 0.0 and an onsite status.
