Overview

Triangle Springs, a leading provider of behavioral health services, seeks a dedicated and compassionate Intake Nurse RN to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in assessing and coordinating care for patients seeking treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to inquiry calls, scheduling face-to-face assessments or triage to the appropriate community referral.
  • Assess patients for medical and behavioral emergency conditions, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, addressing the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting understanding and adherence to treatment recommendations.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including admission and precertification of care with external payers.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in social work or counseling, or RN licensure with relevant experience.
  • Current clinical social work or counseling license, or RN license with state-specific requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), with proof of insurance when using personal vehicle.
  • Ability to meet typing and keyboard expectations.
  • CPR and CPI certification within 30 days.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, working with adult and geriatric patients.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills, with ability to identify and address complex patient needs.
