Position Overview

Company: Rainbow Ecoscience, a division of Rainbow Companies, is on the lookout for a dedicated Sales Manager to oversee the Pacific Northwest territory, which includes Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. The primary focus of this role is to engage with targeted clients in the plant health care sector within the green industry.

This position involves collaboration with commercial tree care firms, landscape maintenance services, municipalities, and other organizations that manage the health of trees and shrubs. Responsibilities include educating clients, proposing solutions, and finalizing sales with both existing and prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate leads while delivering impactful sales presentations to assist clients in enhancing their plant health care operations using Rainbow products and protocols.
  • Represent the company at local conferences and industry events to foster relationships with influential figures in the tree care and landscape maintenance sectors.
  • Adhere to our structured sales process to maintain effective communication with clients, maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Ensure a superior client experience through exceptional customer service and a consultative sales approach.
  • Recognize and pursue new business opportunities to expand existing accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales activities within our CRM system.
  • Develop and regularly refresh a list of potential clients within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve or surpass established sales targets for the territory.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales within the tree care or landscape maintenance industries is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Urban Forestry, Biology, Environmental Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Business-to-Business sales as a distributor or manufacturer representative.
