Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Skilled Nursing

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Saint Luke's Health System. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a skilled nursing setting.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, hygiene, elimination, and toileting, as well as providing nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
  • Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living.
  • Anticipate and meet the patient's family needs in a proactive fashion.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
  • Support patient safety and satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds and effectively communicating with all team members.
Requirements:
  • Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
