• Provide high-quality patient care, acting as a partner and advisor to patients and families.
• Assist and support patients and families to optimally manage their healthcare, respecting their culture and values, individual needs, health goals, and treatment preferences.
• Apply critical reasoning and astute clinical judgment to expedite appropriate care and treatment, especially in complex or potentially life-threatening situations.
• Participate in recording and reporting responsibilities, documenting findings relevant to patients' healthcare status or plan of care.
• Prioritize and document patient incoming phone calls, as assigned, regarding medications, medical conditions, and reviews with provider as needed for orders or changes.
Requirements
• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program.
• Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
