About the Position:
As a Survey CAD Technician at ESP Associates, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of land development projects, from commercial and residential developments to infrastructure construction and layout. You will be responsible for performing survey computations and platting tasks, analyzing spatial data, and collaborating with project managers to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze spatial data using Trimble data collection equipment and GPS receivers.
- Operate robotic total stations and other survey equipment to perform field measurements.
- Develop and maintain detailed maps and reports for clients using Civil 3D 2013, MicroStation, and Geopak software.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying technology, geomatics, or civil engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying, preferably with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, and robotic total stations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- A satisfactory driving record and willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000, based on industry standards and location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and education reimbursement opportunities.
