FPGA Electronic Warfare Design Engineer Job Description

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled FPGA Electronic Warfare Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced electronic warfare systems using FPGA technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop FPGA-based electronic warfare systems
  • Lead FPGA design teams in coding, simulation, synthesis, place and route, and verification testing
  • Implement advanced signal processing techniques and electronic warfare techniques, including electronic support and electronic attack
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, develop, and test electronic warfare systems
  • Develop and maintain expertise in simulation, synthesis, and placement software tools, such as ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado / ISE, and Altera Quartus
  • Implement complex digital signal processing algorithms in FPGA devices
  • Work with laboratory debug techniques using signal generators, digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other complex measurement devices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in FPGA design, with a focus on digital signal processing
  • Expertise in VHDL or Verilog hardware development languages
  • Experience with electronic warfare algorithms, including electronic support and electronic attack
  • Experience with systems in high doppler effects
Preferred Skills:
  • Simulation, synthesis, and placement software tools, such as ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado / ISE, and Altera Quartus
  • Laboratory debug techniques using signal generators, digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other complex measurement devices
  • Implementation of complex digital signal processing algorithms in FPGA devices
  • Experience with timing closure in large FPGAs
  • Experience with signal detection and identification
