Job Title: FPGA Electronic Warfare Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Electronic Warfare Design Engineer to join our team at Innova Solutions. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced electronic warfare and multi-function systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop FPGA-based electronic warfare systems
  • Implement advanced signal processing techniques and algorithms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and design records
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure high-quality designs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and development
  • Expertise in simulation, synthesis, and placement software tools such as ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado / ISE, and Altera Quartus
  • Experience with digital communications architectural design and digital signal processing
  • Strong understanding of VHDL or Verilog hardware development languages
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with timing closure in large FPGAs
  • Knowledge of laboratory debug techniques using signal generators, digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other complex measurement devices
  • Implementation of complex Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms in FPGA devices
  • Experience with signal detection and identification
  • Generation of arbitrary waveform data files
