Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the processes for outgoing mail from our facility.
- Interpret and execute paper and electronic job orders according to specified requirements.
- Conduct mailing and bindery tasks as needed based on production schedules.
- Ensure accountability for delivering quality and timely work.
- Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and production team members to meet client expectations.
- Operate and oversee all mailroom equipment, including inserting machines, strappers, sealers, and inkjet devices.
- Maintain operational efficiency of mail machinery, troubleshoot jams, and manage computer systems.
- Handle heavy packages and prepare bundles for dispatch.
- Keep precise and comprehensive records of operations.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Strong judgment regarding quality standards.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and job specifications.
- Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
- Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
- Understanding of measurement units.
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing work environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
- Ability to follow through on incomplete tasks or shipments.
