Job Title: Shelter Veterinarian

Marin Humane is seeking a skilled Shelter Veterinarian to oversee the veterinary care of animals in our Hopalong Foster Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for shelter medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure that all animals in our care receive appropriate veterinary care
* Examine, diagnose, and provide treatment to foster/shelter animals according to organization guidelines
* Maintain proper paperwork and medical records as required by law
* Collaborate with other departments to provide medical insight on animals in our care

Requirements:

* A degree in veterinary medicine and a valid California license to practice veterinary medicine
* 2-3 years of experience in private practice or shelter medicine
* Excellent communication and group skills
