Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychiatric services to children and adolescents, including assessments, ongoing treatment, medication management, and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and support for our patients.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of psychiatric services through direct supervision, case evaluations, and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing insights on resource allocation, staffing needs, and policy development.
  • Offer consultation to families, community organizations, and healthcare providers.
  • Assist in the formulation of system-wide policies and procedures to elevate service standards.
  • Lead initiatives to secure and maintain accreditation by ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on relevant psychiatric topics.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) with completed residency in psychiatry.
  • Specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry.
  • Active medical license in Kentucky and eligibility for board certification.
  • Federal narcotics license.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience:

  • A minimum of six months in a structured psychiatric training environment.

This is a full-time position that offers a supportive environment focused on professional growth and development.
