Client Service Representative

Job Purpose:
As a key point of contact for our core customer base, you will serve as the primary liaison via phone, chat, or email. Your role will involve answering customer inquiries, providing information, and building strong relationships to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Consult directly with customers to address their questions and concerns regarding policies and coverages, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
2. Collaborate with the Retention Specialist to develop strategies for policyholder retention and growth.
3. Work closely with Management and the Technical Services Administrator to complete training and develop in-depth knowledge of NCMIC products and services.
4. Proactively recommend NCMIC products and services to customers, identifying opportunities to drive business growth and expansion.
5. Accurately record call data and customer interactions in our computer systems.
6. Work with prospective customers to determine coverage needs, provide quotes, and assist with the application process.

Requirements:

Education:
A high school degree, with some college education preferred. Relevant experience in insurance, customer service, or a related field is also beneficial.

Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential. You should also possess excellent interpersonal and telephone skills, as well as the ability to navigate our company's computer systems. Additionally, you will need to develop extensive knowledge of our products and services, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Mental Demands:
You must be able to focus on tasks for extended periods, be flexible, and work with a variety of tasks and employees. You should also be able to plan, organize, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Physical Demands:
This role requires continuous sitting for extended periods, with some standing, walking, bending, and reaching. You will also need to use your fingers and hands to manipulate computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
