Position: Home Care Private Duty Caregiver

At Comprehensive Care, our caregivers serve as essential representatives in the community. As a Home Care Private Duty Caregiver, your role will involve providing assistance to the elderly, vulnerable, and disabled individuals who require additional support. Your main objective will be to meet the needs of clients while executing the following responsibilities:

  • Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) tailored to their individual care plans
  • Offer medication assistance, housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and companionship
  • Carry out additional household tasks as outlined in the care plan
  • Document daily activities and observations through the agency's management system

Our Caregivers:

We prioritize a proper match between clients and caregivers through our CareMatch program. This initiative allows us to understand the specific needs of each client, ensuring the highest quality of care. Our caregivers receive training in the Comprehensive Care Way methodology to uphold our standards of service excellence.

We carefully pair caregivers with clients by utilizing behavioral assessment tools to align caregiver traits with client preferences and requirements.

Additional Responsibilities of a Home Care Private Duty Caregiver:

  • Follow safety protocols while assisting clients
  • Be physically capable of lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Demonstrate honesty, accountability, and integrity in all responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding care to all clients
  • Remain vigilant for any changes in a client's condition or care needs
  • Maintain a professional appearance in line with company standards
  • Punctually arrive for shifts and adhere to established schedules
  • Report any suspicions of abuse or neglect according to the specified procedures
  • Document any unusual occurrences or behaviors
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of all client information and records
  • Engage in meetings and training sessions as required
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures consistently
  • Protect sensitive information by complying with HIPAA regulations and company policies
  • Perform any other assigned duties as necessary
