Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Trial Attorney to join our team at RemoteWorker US. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide expert legal representation for our corporation and its insured within established corporate guidelines and the applicable code of professional responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle litigation involving the corporation and its insured within established corporate guidelines and the applicable code of professional responsibility.
  • Handle files and complex issues and communicate with the client regarding file status and progress.
  • Analyze the file as litigation progresses and evaluate cases to seek settlement.
  • Conduct discovery, motion practice, and draft all necessary pleadings, papers, and briefs to promote litigation.
  • Advocate for the client position in all forums and circumstances.
  • Negotiate in the resolution of claims and other issues.
  • Stay current on state statutes and court decisions and analyze how they affect the interpretation and enforceability of policy provisions.
Requirements
  • 5-15 years of experience preparing civil pleadings, motions, and discovery and deposing witnesses.
  • Demonstrated litigation experience.
  • Solid knowledge of rules of Professional Responsibility for the jurisdiction in which they practice.
  • Solid knowledge of tort, contract, and insurance law.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility for admission to the bar and obtaining admission within a year of hiring.
  • Juris Doctor.
  • Washington state licensed.
