Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures, ensuring minimal discomfort and maximum image quality
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and patient areas to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, addressing patient concerns and needs in a compassionate and respectful manner

Requirements

  • Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or Certificate program in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in CT or MRI imaging
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) certification
  • Licensed Radiographer or Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
