Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Incoming Material Disposition Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate disposition of incoming materials, as well as supporting deviation and complaint investigations for materials management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice safety behaviors with proper PPE and lifting techniques to support all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
  • Document inspections in accordance with procedures and specifications.
  • Ensure materials not meeting specifications are quarantined, per local procedures.
  • Perform incoming material disposition by ensuring materials are released in a timely manner, as to not delay production.
  • Evaluate damaged materials found on inbound shipments or within the warehouse and determine acceptability.
  • Review temperature monitoring data prior to dispositioning materials to ensure all adjustments for in transit movements have been made.
  • Assist in resolving issues on inbound shipments (i.e. Incorrect quantity or product, contamination, etc.).
  • Perform appropriate transactions in SAP to ensure system represents appropriate status of material (QI, blocked, scrapped, etc.).
  • Initiate complaints/remarks to supplier for materials not meeting Lilly expectations.
  • May participate in deviation investigations regarding materials management quality assurance functions or service complaints.
  • Author/revises SOPs, materials specifications, as needed.
  • Interact with other quality functions and support material related Supplier Change Notifications.
  • Participate in/support regulatory inspections, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in the sciences required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Position is 8 hour days - Monday through Friday.
  • Ability to work overtime, as required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cGMP regulations related to QA Warehouse and Inspection applications.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer system applications.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, highly flexible and able to work independently in fast paced environment to support production demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, share ideas and lead solutions effectively to resolution; ensure safety of others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in GMP production and warehouse environments.
  • Understanding of statistical tools and analysis.
  • Experience in inventory management systems (EWM, SAP, etc.).
  • Experience using Trackwise and Veeva.
