About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Systems Inspector to join our team at Johnson Controls, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical life safety systems, including testing and calibration of equipment.
  • Document all work performed, including test results and maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical life safety systems, including fire alarm systems.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including NFPA 72.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work at heights, as required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
