About the Role

The Speech Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality Speech Therapy services to patients in their homes. This will involve establishing treatment plans in consultation with physicians, revising them as necessary, and communicating with other team members to ensure seamless care. You will also be responsible for teaching, supervising, and counseling patients and their families on Speech Therapy techniques and other related issues.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and revise Speech Therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians
  • Communicate with other team members to ensure seamless care
  • Teach, supervise, and counsel patients and their families on Speech Therapy techniques
  • Record evaluation data, treatments, and client responses to therapeutic intervention
  • Supervise Home Health Aides as needed
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Speech Therapy intervention and update client care plans as necessary
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong commitment to providing quality care to our patients. You will also need to be self-directed, able to work with little supervision, and possess good observational, judgment, and communication skills. A graduate degree in Speech Therapy or equivalent education is required.
