Key Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks outlined on the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing estimates for extra repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician
  • ASE Certification is mandatory
  • B level qualifications, encompassing Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination are essential
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a customer-focused mindset
  • Enjoyment of a fast-paced work environment
  • Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks
