Overview

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients. This position involves direct interaction with customers, primarily in person, to support their rental and branch needs. You will acquire valuable insights through localized training and hands-on experience, focusing on customer service and administrative responsibilities.

Position Details

This is a PART-TIME role requiring approximately 25 hours per week, with a compensation of $15.00 per hour.

Availability Requirements:

Must be available to work the following schedule:

Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service by addressing rental inquiries both in-person and via phone.
  • Clearly explain rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services.
  • Provide directions and general assistance as needed.
  • Evaluate the condition of rental vehicles upon return.
  • Process vehicle returns, check-ins, and transactions at exit kiosks.
  • Handle incoming calls related to reservations, rate inquiries, and general customer questions.
  • Manage outgoing calls for follow-ups and other assigned tasks.
  • Notify management of any vehicle issues or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, both interior and exterior, as required.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including billing support, accounts receivable, and report generation.
  • Execute other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior customer service experience is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years is required.
  • No drug or alcohol-related convictions (DWI/DUI) on driving record in the last 3 years.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for this position.
