Key Responsibilities- Coordinate technician staff and activities, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient operations.
- Perform advanced duties, including Automated Dispensing Cabinet management, Sterile Preparation QA Specialist, Medication Inspection Specialist, and Procurement Specialist.
- Focus on resolution of ControlCheck variances, assessing root causes and educating staff on correct resolution/documentation practices.
- Review and update policy and procedure documents related to technician job functions.
- Assure consistent, compliant, and safe technician work practices, adhering to unit, department, state, or federal rules and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited pharmacy technician-training program.
- Minimum of two years of pharmacy technician experience.
- North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration.
- Pharmacy Technician certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or The Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).
