Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and diligent Surgical Anesthesia Support Specialist to become a vital part of our Operating Room team.
This role is situated within a dynamic healthcare environment that caters exclusively to an adult patient demographic.
Our facility provides a comprehensive array of medical and clinical services, ranging from primary care to specialized treatment for patients facing complex and critical health challenges.
Specialization Areas:- Organ transplantation
- Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
- Cardiovascular conditions
- Oncology
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, requiring 80 hours biweekly, with shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There may be occasional weekday and weekend shifts to cover for staff absences.

- Facilitate the turnover of operating rooms for anesthesia and surgical procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of operating rooms.
- Prepare the operating room for incoming patients.
- Maintain and care for medical equipment, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed.
- Procure necessary equipment and supplies.
- Transport specimens and blood products as required.
- Manage inventory control effectively.
- Order and track medical supplies.
- Monitor the status of back-ordered items.
- Return incorrect or damaged supplies promptly.
- Restock departmental supplies as needed.
- Conduct rounds to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
Required:
- Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred:
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare or patient care setting, including a minimum of six months in an operating room environment.
