Job Summary:
The Field Parts Sales Representative is tasked with reaching out to potential customers from a provided list. This role may also involve delivering parts as necessary.

Position Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and process orders from inventory.
- Access parts information through computer systems and CD-ROMs to check availability, pricing, and substitutions.
- Stay informed about quality improvement bulletins, service bulletins, and vehicle updates to advise customers on parts replacement needs.
- Manage stock of necessary parts in outside vans and pickups.
- Verify customer account credit before delivering parts.
- Collect payments from customers with overdue accounts.
- Accept payments from cash or C.O.D. customers upon delivery.
- Inspect returned parts or cores for defects before issuing credits.
- Research customer accounts to issue proper invoices for returned parts or cores.
- Identify potential new customers for parts sales.
- Complete necessary paperwork for warranty-covered parts and return them to the warranty clerk.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
- Capable of keeping accurate records and submitting call sheets weekly, while addressing any customer issues with the Parts Manager.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to drive long distances.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist height and 25 lbs to shoulder height.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Licenses & Certifications Required:
- Valid Driver's License
