Job Summary

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, providing care to patients across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide in-person and teletherapy sessions.
  • Track and document patient progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and families on managing conditions and therapy.
  • Perform swallowing evaluations and screenings.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and standards.
  • Supervise assistants and interns as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Masters Degree or higher.
  • Licensure / Certification: Current CA Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Skills: Ability to assess patient and family needs, and to also develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care. Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards/requirements. Knowledge of Medicare documentation standards. Recommended affiliation with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
