About the Role

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a contract position in a school setting. As an SLP, you will provide vital speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and supporting their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant school meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and district policies.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid California State SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
