Job Summary:
The Center for Developmentally Disabled is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Support Services Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing behavioral analysis services to develop individualized behavior plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and skill-based assessments to identify individualized behavior plans.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans that promote skill development while reducing challenging behaviors.
- Use gentle teaching techniques to create a supportive and nurturing environment for clients.
- Establish data collection processes and gather data on targeted behaviors.
- Train staff, guardians, and parents in the implementation of Behavior Support Plans.
- Address crisis prevention and intervention needs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and state requirements.
- Participate in meetings for individuals with Behavior Support Plans to offer insight, identify needs, and commend improvements.
- Regularly communicate with team members to assess progress and make adjustments to the Behavior Support Plan.
Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited program in behavioral analysis, education, or psychology.
- Currently Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and MO Behavioral Analyst licensure in good standing.
