Aircraft Deicer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part Time Aircraft Deicer to join our team at Avflight. As a Part Time Aircraft Deicer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient deicing of aircraft at our facility.

• Check aircraft for leading edge ice and frost
• Apply deice fluid to aircraft wings, fuselage, and tail
• Operate large, heavy vehicles around aircraft during deicing operations
• Accurately account for deicing fluid transactions
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment, vehicles, and fluids
• Communicate with ground crew, flight crew, and dispatch using a headset/radio
• Maintain compliance with FAA, Federal, State, Local, and Avflight safety policies and procedures
• Meet Avflight's attendance/tardiness standards

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 years related experience, Aviation experience a plus
• Valid Driver's license with a good driving record
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet
• Experience driving large, heavy equipment preferred
• Able to continually lift, push, and move 50 lbs
