Aircraft Deicer

Avflight is seeking a skilled Aircraft Deicer to join our team. As a key member of our ground support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient de-icing of aircraft.

• De-ice aircraft wings, fuselage, and tail using Type 1 or Type 4 de-ice fluid.
• Operate large, heavy vehicles around aircraft during de-icing operations.
• Accurately account for de-icing fluid transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment, vehicles, and fluids.
• Communicate effectively with ground crew, flight crew, and dispatch using a headset/radio.
• Maintain compliance with FAA, Federal, State, Local, and Avflight safety policies and procedures.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years related experience, with aviation experience a plus.
• Valid Driver's license with a good driving record.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Experience driving large, heavy equipment preferred.
• Able to continually lift, push, or move 50 lbs.
