Delivery Driver Role

The Delivery Driver is responsible for verifying all items for correctness against quality benchmarks and ensuring timely, safe, and courteous delivery of products to clients while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Additionally, assist the restaurant by fulfilling various workstation responsibilities. Adhere to the uniform, appearance, and operational standards as outlined in the Operations Manual, PizzaAcademy, Team Member Handbook, and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Expected earnings, including rate, tips, and commissions, range from $20 to $35 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute tasks such as pre-delivery vehicle checks, familiarizing oneself with the delivery area, verifying orders for quality and accuracy, adhering to proper delivery protocols, and providing exceptional customer service through positive and professional interactions with clients, whether in person or via phone. Approach all tasks with a sense of urgency. Perform additional assigned duties, including preparing quality products, managing ingredient preparation, and taking customer orders.
• Collaborate as a team member by being punctual for shifts, supporting colleagues at different workstations, and completing all closing tasks, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Uphold the company's image by following uniform and appearance guidelines. Foster a workplace atmosphere characterized by teamwork, energy, and enjoyment.
• Accurately manage order documentation and payment processes, execute cash handling responsibilities, and utilize the FOCUS System. Enhance sales initiatives by suggestively selling to boost the average order value when processing orders and distributing promotional materials during each shift. Safeguard company assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean workspaces; consistently adhere to safety and security protocols.

Essential Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• A valid driver's license as per state laws, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle, and the capability to drive are required.
• Skills: Proficient in cash management; strong planning and organizational abilities; effective communication skills.
