Delivery Driver Role
The Delivery Driver is responsible for verifying the accuracy of all products against established quality benchmarks and ensuring timely, safe, and courteous delivery to customers while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Additional responsibilities include supporting the restaurant by fulfilling various workstation tasks. Adherence to uniform, appearance, and operational standards as outlined in the Operations Manual, PizzaAcademy, and Team Member Handbook, as well as compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, is essential.
Expected Earnings
Potential earnings, including base pay, tips, and commissions, range from $20 to $35 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks such as preparing the delivery vehicle, familiarizing oneself with the delivery area, verifying order quality and accuracy, adhering to proper delivery protocols, and providing exceptional customer service through positive interactions, whether in person or via phone. Demonstrate urgency in all tasks while also performing other assigned duties, including food preparation and order taking.
- Collaborate with team members by being punctual for shifts, assisting with various workstations during service, and completing all closing responsibilities, including cleaning. Uphold the company's image by adhering to uniform and appearance guidelines, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of teamwork and enjoyment.
- Accurately manage order documentation and payment processes, perform cash handling duties, and utilize the FOCUS System. Support sales initiatives by making suggestive sales to enhance the average check when processing orders and distributing promotional materials during shifts. Safeguard company assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean workspaces while consistently following safety and security protocols.
Essential Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- A valid driver's license in accordance with state laws, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle, and the capability to drive are required.
- Necessary skills include cash management, organizational planning, and effective communication.
