Job Summary

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Fairfax Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems.
  • Administer medications and moderate sedation as directed by physicians.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
  • Registered in one of the following: RCIS, RTR VI, RTR CV, RTR CI.
  • One year of experience in interventional radiology or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
