Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver Physical Therapy Services: Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, provide treatment strategies to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including neurological, sensorimotor, and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Patient Education: Teach patients and families how to maximize function within the home and community through the implementation of home programs.
  • Documentation and Safety: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Joint Commission, state/federal guidelines, and CARF standards.
  • Collaboration and Continuing Education: Organize, coordinate, and collaborate with other disciplines within the hospital and resources within the community to maximize the value and effectiveness of the plan of care.


Requirements


  • Education: Equivalent to a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensure: Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Arizona.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting.
