Job Title: Neurodiagnostic Technologist I

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neurodiagnostic Technologist I to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist I, you will be responsible for performing routine EEGs, ambulatory and video telemetry studies, and other neurodiagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine EEGs using paste and obtain high-quality data
  • Learn EEG monitoring and perform independently after orientation
  • Give instructions to families and prepare patients for studies
  • Transcribe information to records and document data in Epic
  • Label abnormalities and provide interpretations
  • Teach students and notify supervisors of patient issues
  • Perform ambulatory and video telemetry studies with collodion or paste
  • Learn to interpret data and troubleshoot with supervision
  • Maintain a flexible schedule and provide daily rotating schedule/weekend support
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Technical Diploma from an EEG Technology program required
  • Previous hospital and pediatric experience preferred
  • Ability to handle mildly to severely brain-damaged children
  • Ability to work independently and under stress
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (EEG) certification within 36 months
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
