Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the mechanical discipline and managing project budgets on small to medium-sized projects with limited complexity.

As a key member of our team, the Mechanical Engineer will coordinate with internal and external architects, engineers, clients, construction managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities, and direct the work of others.

  • Interface with clients and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Plan and direct work, manage project budgets from a mechanical design perspective, and oversee small projects of limited complexity.
  • Support proposal development under the supervision of a lead or senior engineer.
  • Identify non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.
  • Develop internal mechanical design and engineering training presentations.
  • Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications for intermediate projects with limited oversight.
  • Lead squad checks and discipline checks for small projects of intermediate complexity and drive overall project quality.
  • Provide mentorship to junior Mechanical Engineers and Designers.
  • Lead project system design programming and master planning with support from Lead or Senior Engineers.
