Job Overview

Position Title: Winder

Department: Winding Department

Reports To: Plant Supervisor


Overall Responsibility:

  1. Fabricating coils that meet specified standards.
  2. Conducting quality assessments on coils produced by fellow winders.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Wind coils in accordance with design specifications.
  2. Employ appropriate winding techniques.
  3. Carefully retrieve and organize conductors in their assigned locations.

Competency Requirements:

  1. Strong attention to detail.
  2. Capability to braze, solder, or perform MIG welding on copper and aluminum materials.
  3. Physical ability to lift weights up to 75 lbs.
  4. Proficiency in using measuring tools such as squares, tape measures, micrometers, wire gauges, as well as hand and power tools.
  5. Adeptness in interpreting technical drawings and work packets.
  6. Exhibiting a positive and self-motivated attitude.
