Job Title: Material Handler

WET Design is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for handling and processing materials, operating equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production process.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload raw materials, and store them in designated areas
  • Operate forklifts and company trucks to transport materials and finished products
  • Set up and align saws to produce high-quality cuts
  • Maintain accurate records of material levels and order re-supplies as needed
  • Minimize waste and optimize cutting parameters to ensure efficient production
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience driving company trucks and operating forklifts in a production environment
  • 3+ years of material handling experience using forklifts, company trucks, and pallet jacks
  • 1+ year of experience operating a saw
  • Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures
  • Continuous use of hands and fingers, hearing to understand and respond to equipment alarms and radio messages
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Additional Requirements:
  • Forklift driver certification (we can certify onsite)
  • Able to lift at least 50+ lbs
  • Stand for a minimum of 8+ hours per day
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
