Job Summary

Volex Spokane (Servatron) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing inventory to supply manufacturing and/or technicians with the necessary parts for manufacturing or repairing units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Volex Spokane's ERP systems to cycle count inventory and adjust counts as necessary
  • Receive, label, and place parts on shelves in proper locations
  • Retrieve parts for work orders and as requested by the production team
  • Accurately count a variety of parts and enter data on technician's analysis forms
  • Reject and disposition damaged products and control inventory between warehouses per buyer's instructions
  • Maintain spreadsheets of tracking information and email results
  • Meet pre-scheduled planning dates of customer's products and support other duties as assigned
Work Environment and Safety

The work environment is a 70% manufacturing environment and 30% computer work. This position requires the use of safety devices, including glasses with side shields and ESD equipment/clothing. The safe handling of lead solder and paste, isopropyl alcohol, flux, RTV, and various adhesives is also required.

Requirements
  • Possess an excellent attitude and be willing to learn new skills, systems, and tools
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Color vision and basic math skills
  • PC skills - Windows programs and accurate counting skills
  • Repetitive lifting up to 25lbs, 50 pounds maximum using team lift practices
  • Move items up or down while climbing a ladder and walking or standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Previous experience in a distribution/material handling environment preferred
  • Previous experience being part of a high-performing team preferred
  • ERP and/or warehouse management system experience preferred
  • Certified forklift driver preferred
