Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Consultant to join our team in California. This role will focus on providing health and safety compliance consulting services to our clients, helping them to improve their performance and achieve their health and safety goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct health and safety risk assessments and evaluations.
  • Perform health and safety compliance audits to ensure conformance with applicable regulations.
  • Design and implement health and safety management systems to meet industry standards.
  • Develop and implement written health and safety programs, including hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined space, and working at heights.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for clients.
  • Manage projects and coordinate with clients to meet their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare client deliverables and reports.
  • Mentor and support project team members.
  • Travel to client sites as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field, such as industrial hygiene or science.
  • 10-15 years of experience in health and safety consulting, with a strong background in CalOSHA regulations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing health and safety management systems, including ISO 45001.
  • Strong business development skills, with experience in growing revenue and building client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
  • Experience in client management and service growth.
