We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures, and interpret results to inform patient care decisions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in the United States
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in an ICU setting
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand for long periods
