Job SummaryAt MACUS COMFORT CARE, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in their own homes and communities. As a Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients, while also providing companionship and emotional support.Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide personal care services, such as feeding, transferring, and positioning.
  • Assist with household chores, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, including conversation, emotional support, and encouragement of activities that stimulate the mind.
  • Escort clients to medical facilities, errands, shopping, and outings as specified in the care plan.
  • Assist clients with communication, including writing or typing correspondence and researching information.
  • Participate in the Care Team by providing input and making suggestions.
  • Ensure service is delivered in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements
  • Certification in Personal Care is not required, but a current driver's license and proper vehicle insurance coverage are necessary.
  • May require related experience, and on-the-job training for new activities.
  • Good physical and mental health, with the ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and see.
